Stress dodos

Here are your weekly dodos on the theme stress. Poor Abe.

I think this last guy is my favorite. He list all his feathers! Glad I'm just going gray and not listing my hair.

Horseshoe crabs

Meet Frederick, the star of our next comic. If Angela gets her act together it will be available in a few weeks. And then you can learn more about horseshoe crabs then you knew you ever wanted to know.

Dodos

New posts just for you. So I can remember to post, Abe will think of a theme each week for me. I will doodle dodos on that theme all week and part then in Thursday. I didn't think of it until today, so here are some random dodos.
First a hipster dodo lady because I love staying big glasses on a dodo.

Next are some thank you images for some sweeties who bought some comics on Etsy.

Do you want to know what next week's theme will be or should it be a surprise?

This is also my first test of a new so for posting to the bog from my phone. OK so far except I done seem to be able to schedule the publication.

Digital comics

We have a great new way for pay-what-you-want digital comics: https://gumroad.com/flyingdodo. Gumroad is a cool site with lots of stuff and now we sell our digital comics there. We will keep adding more as we have them. So far we have:

• Oooh! Shiny
• Herbert
• Harrowing Tales at the Bus Stop
• Hardly Kind
• Bubbles and Other Tales
• The Autovoyerist

If you can't see us at conventions, this is the only way you can get The Autovoyerist. And the best way I think, since we only sell it in the Bin of Annoyance, where comics are dumped when they print wrong or get ripped or something.

All the comics so far are $1 and you can add however much on top of that you think it is worth. I hope you enjoy them!

We're alive

...but super busy. Angela is so busy with school, she barely has time to work on comics.
But you can get other updates from her blog: http://inkyphalangies.blogspot.com/

Jet city comic show

Guess where you can find Abe and Angela this weekend? Tacoma at the Jet City Comic Show! Angela will of course be drawing the bubble people, so come and get one for just $1.

Angela will also be willing to do larger commissioned drawings (5*7) for $5 in the bubble people style.

Other than that, you will have to forgive our lack of posts. Angela started a certificate program in natural science illustration this fall and it is taking up all of her time! Comics have sadly fallen by the wayside for now. But by this summer she will be back on the horse after getting her certificate.

To keep you satisfied, here are some phone pics of what Angela has been doing.

Bellingham ComiCon

Well, I forgot to announce it here, but we went to Bellingham ComiCon yesterday and had a blast. The folks there are always so great!
One of the highlights for Angela was finding the Corgi Zine by Ainsley Yeager. Go check it out!
And we traded with Shane Shaughnessy for his comic Spuds Malone. Quite a good looking book.
Bellingham ComiCon is always sucha treat. I hope we get to do it again next year.
Also, here's some of the drawings I did this year.
